Updates from Monthly Meeting

 

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for Wednesday evening's meeting. We sincerely appreciate your participation and feedback.



Dr. Edgerton and Ms. Barna gave a comprehensive and informative presentation on our students' results on the New Jersey Start Strong Assessment. That presentation will be available shortly on the website under curriculum presentations.

New Somerset County Vocational-Technical High School Info Session for SHSD Families

Any current middle school or high school students interested in learning more about vocational-technical programs for the 2023-2024 school year are invited to attend a virtual information session on Tuesday, January 31. The presentation for current middle school students will be held from 6:00-6:30pm, followed by the session for current high school students which will run from 6:30-7:00pm. Students and families will learn about the programs offered–both full-time at SCVTHS and share-time programs split between BHS and SCVTHS–as well as the application process. Please join us here:

3/18/2023 2023 Shamrock Shuffle B’ville



Join us for the Third Annual Shamrock Shuffle in beautiful Bernardsville, NJ on March 18, 2023.

 

Race day will include a USATF-certified Grand Prix 5K on our challenging and scenic certified course, a 2 mile walk, a free kids fun run, and St. Patty’s Day festivities. An optional super soft commemorative tshirt is available as an add-on during registration.

 

Hurry and register today because the first 250 5K runners will get a finisher medal.

1/28/2023 K of C Annual Free-Throw Contest

Annual Free-Throw Contest in Peapack this Saturday afternoon 1/28 at 3:30 PM in the P-G Municipal Gym. Free to all ages from 9-14 (Boys & Girls). Proof of Age required.

1/31/2023 Kid's Terrarium Workshop

 

Kid's (ages 10+) register to make your own Terrarium here at the Clarence Dillon Public Library. Tuesday 1/31 at 4:00 - please register as supplies are limited.

2/11/2023 Teen Self-Love Jars

 

Teens (7th - 12th grade) register to make your own "Self Love Jar" Saturday 2/11 from

11-2:00. Improve your positivity, your mental health, and feel good about yourself!

The Bernardsville Library has been transformed into an indoor mini golf course and it’s guaranteed to be a HOLE Lot of Fun! Organized by the Friends of the Bernardsville Public Library, this is an excellent way to support the Bernardsville Library and try to best the unique course holes sponsored and designed by local businesses and organizations. Plus there will be over 25 raffle baskets!

Join us from 10am-4pm for the Family Day session ($5/ticket purchased at the door) or from 7-10pm for Adult Night ($40/ticket at the door includes beer/wine, international cuisine from local restaurants and rounds of golf). ***In order to register, your player must FIRST have a USA Lacrosse membership valid through June 4, 2023 (when our season officially ends). Even if you have a current valid membership, you may need to purcahse another year in order for it to cover that June 4 date.

 

The new membership will be added to the end of the current membership so you will not lose time or money. You can purchase a membership through their website https://www.usalacrosse.com/. Please remember your USA Lacrosse membership number as you will need this to register for SHLC.***
