Home Teaching/Learning

Bringing Civics into your Home
Are you or someone in your family interested in learning Civics? Are you interested in what is happening in your child's Civics class? Here is your unique opportunity to learn from your child and be in the know.

On a weekly basis students are encouraged to teach their parents, guardians, caregivers, siblings or other family members about the history or civics lesson. Each lesson taught should incorporate the weekly objective as explained by the instructor. Students will be able to earn "enrichment" credit for lessons taught to their family members.

The following is required in order to earn 4 points of "ENRICHMENT CREDIT" per submission:

1. Students must complete and submit the attached Lesson Plan and Lesson Reflection
Worksheet.

2. Students must submit a video or audio recording of him/her teaching the appropriate lesson to at least 1 family member
