May Everyday Hero
The May Everyday Hero is an exemplary student - the kind of student that a teacher knows they can always count on to be doing the right thing. This hero is always willing to help others, and consistently goes WAY OUT of their way to do so, always with pleasantness and being accommodating, invariably having superb suggestions, regardless of the circumstances. Their peers have noted how their laugh is enough to brighten a room and people look to this hero as a role model. Students and teachers alike inevitably smile when she says, “Good morning!” This Everyday hero is focused and goal-oriented, but never allows that ambition to detract from her kindness and compassion. That is why Mei Salemi is the May Everyday hero. Mei will receive a generous gift certificate from Nicoletta Pizzeria, proud sponsor of the Everyday Hero.
